These terms apply when you purchase career guidance or development services from Uncommon Potential Pty Ltd (“we”, “us” or “UP”). “You” means the client receiving the service.
1 Services and scope
Your selected service page and written booking or order confirmation set out the reports, session time, resources, price and delivery arrangements included in your purchase. Additional sessions or work require a separately agreed price and scope.
We provide Harrison assessment reports, career guidance and development coaching as described for your package. We do not provide recruitment, job placement, diagnosis, treatment, or legal, medical or financial advice. Guidance supports your decisions; it does not guarantee a job, income, promotion or particular career outcome.
2 Payment and acceptance
You receive these terms and privacy information before payment and accept the terms electronically, for example through a checkout checkbox. Payment through Square is required before we issue the questionnaire or provide a paid session. Prices are in Australian dollars; the amount confirmed before purchase is the total payable, including any applicable GST. A free discovery call does not commit you to purchase.
3 Preparation and participation
Please answer questionnaires honestly. Brief review of relevant reports and resources before an included session is part of that service. Any additional UP resources offered for trial are optional and independently developed; they are not represented as validated assessments or Harrison-endorsed materials.
Discussion is limited to the booked session time. Incomplete resources do not prevent a debrief. Resources submitted afterwards may require separately agreed paid review or coaching. An action plan is included only where your package says so. We may use de-identified feedback and lessons to improve our resources; identifiable examples and testimonials require separate permission.
4 Booking rescheduling and attendance
Give at least 24 hours’ notice by email to reschedule without charge. With less notice or a missed appointment, we may retain a reasonable cancellation fee up to the disclosed session value, taking account of costs saved and whether the appointment was filled. For a genuine emergency, we offer one complimentary reschedule and consider further exceptional circumstances reasonably.
If you are absent, we try to contact you within a couple of minutes. Late sessions normally end at the original time, unless we can accommodate an extension. Technical problems may be resolved by continuing by telephone or rescheduling undelivered time without an extra fee for the interruption.
5 Refunds and service completion
We do not offer change-of-mind refunds after payment. This does not limit legal refund or cancellation rights. If we cannot deliver a booked session, you may reschedule or receive a refund for its undelivered component, normally $150 for a full hour unless a different allocation was disclosed before purchase. We also address other undelivered package obligations.
For assessment packages with a debrief, please complete it within 12 months of the questionnaire; we recommend within six months. We consider reasonable extensions. The period does not automatically forfeit your payment or remove access rights; contact us to arrange completion.
6 Consumer rights and responsibilities
Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including under Australian Consumer Law. We remain responsible for providing our services with due care and skill. Assessment costs already incurred do not override your legal remedies. You remain responsible for your decisions and should check current course, licensing and employment requirements before committing.
7 Artificial intelligence
With your separate permission, we may use AI to review relevant reports and completed UP resources, identify recurring themes, prepare summaries and assist coaching notes or action plans. Before use, we explain the selected provider, information processed and relevant privacy arrangements. We review outputs and retain professional judgment. AI can make mistakes. Declining AI does not change your purchased service; manual review and notes are available.
8 Session recording and transcription
We seek separate permission before recording or using AI transcription, including from any other attendee. The tool, purpose, any temporary recording and deletion arrangements are explained beforehand. We do not retain full audio or video as ongoing client records; we retain relevant transcripts and checked summaries under our Privacy Policy. If you decline or withdraw permission, we use manual notes and stop future processing covered by that permission.
9 Privacy and confidentiality
Our separate Privacy Policy explains collection, providers, storage, retention, access and correction. We treat coaching information as confidential and disclose it only with appropriate authority, to providers as explained in that policy, or where required or otherwise lawfully justified. A payer does not automatically receive the client’s reports or session information. Email support covers administration and brief clarification; additional coaching requires an agreed session.
10 Intellectual property
We own or license the protected content on our website and in our original resources, except where another owner is identified. Harrison retains rights in its assessment materials and reports. Buying a service does not transfer ownership of that content.
You may view our website and keep and use materials supplied to you for your own personal development. Without written permission, you must not resell, publish, distribute, commercially reproduce protected content or adapt it for publication or commercial use, remove ownership notices, or embed it in another website or product. You may complete UP worksheets for personal use. These restrictions do not prevent uses permitted by law. We do not claim ownership of your answers or personal information; we do not claim ownership of underlying ideas or general knowledge.
11 Conduct and concerns
Please maintain respectful conduct. We may pause or end services for abusive behaviour or a genuine safety concern, dealing fairly with delivered work and unused fees. Email concerns or refund requests to Aaron@UncommonPotential.com.au. We consider them reasonably; you remain free to use available external complaint or legal processes.
12 Changes and governing law
The terms and service description accepted for your purchase apply to that purchase unless we agree a change. Website updates do not retrospectively remove your rights. NSW law applies, subject to mandatory laws and consumer protections that apply elsewhere.
